Nomi, ……Isn’t it fascinating how these discussions take on lives of their own? You begin in one direction and somebody writes something that lets you know you might be going the wrong way or that there might be a better way to get where you want to go. When John Junot came up with that business about the last page in Dominic Dunne’s book, who could have predicted where it eventually led with Anon, Rose and Lollie? ……..Anon has a way of remembering things, Buster has a way of seeing things and Lollie has a way of finding things in the Smartfellows Press archives and on the Internet (she found you) that make me feel like one of those bobble-head dolls. What Brian did with the garage door opener is something I never would have thought of. I’m not ashamed to admit how easily I fall into a hero-worshiping mode with everybody who did something I couldn’t or didn’t do. I don’t mind feeling intellectually inferior now and then because I know what I can do, I recognize the good stuff when I see it and I use it. ……….You, Nomi, picked up on the power of that input as quickly as Mario did and you are getting what the old-timers like Rose, Jean, Pat W and Pat V have been getting for years – surprises. ………You are understandably focused on the people trying to hurt you but never forget that you also have a fan club. It stared quickly and it’s growing. Sara had the right idea. However it seems that asking for people to support you is unnecessary. You have earned it. The next time the bad guys attack, if they haven’t been following this discussion group, they are the ones who might get a surprise. They might find that they are outclassed and outnumbered and outgunned by your fans. –Jasper
