Hi Lollie, i feel much as you regarding these "accidents"! I too feel that there's a very good chance Fred Goldman may have been the partner that Marvin Glass tried to have killed. If he's not, i firmly believe he was involved in the Marvin Glass mess and related illegal activities. ...In the book "His Name is Ron", Fred writes that after his divorce from Ron and Kim's mother he "did a lot of dating in those days..." (pg.56) And he writes on the same page 56, that in 1978 he married a woman named Joan, and, "After only a few years, Joan and I decided, amicably, to go our seperate ways, and I was once more on the dating scene." ............ On the same page 56, he writes:" Ron and Kim were teenagers when one day I brought home a cute, petite, blond woman named Patti Glass." ...He also writes on that same page that Patti Glass had 3 kids named Brian, Michael, and Lauren. And on page 56-57, he writes:"In our family when you graduate from high school, it is assumed that you will go on to college, and that is what Ron did in 1986. Kim and Patti fashioned numerically coded labels for his clothes so that he could match the colors correctly." ....And:"We drove him to the campus of Lillinois State University, and helped him settle in." .....In between these passages, Fred writes:"I had always sworn that I would not get involved with a woman who had children, but Patti and her kids were irresistable and I quickly changed my mind. After our first date, we were inseperable." .....And it goes into a other stuff in between to. On page 57:"Patti and I were married on February 21, 1987. Three days later we were all on a plane to California, where I had a new job waiting." .....So, it appears that Fred and Patti were indeed very much involved in the time period of the Marvin Glass mess, him on the run, his "accident", and obviously his trial, as others have written. Though Fred doesn't GO THERE about all this and Marvin Glass, as far as i've read so far, he just refers to Marvin Glass as Patti's former husband and a defence attorney in Chicago. ....I haven't finished this, but i also find these "accidents" in Florida way too coincidental. He doesn't give a date for the "accident" he say's occured in Florida. But i wonder if he took the Marvin Glass incident, and used that as a cover-story for certain reasons, and for certain people, like a message or something. ....I also think that Fred Goldman may have also been one of those indicted along with Marvin Glass, and made a deal to testify in return for immunity. ....So i'm not buying this "car accident in Florida" story at face value. If there was indeed just such an accident, i wonder if Fred embellished some of the details, or if it did happen that way, whatever the case may be, everything combined points to Fred Goldman and his background as being very shady and murky at best. ...............................Solitairea1
