So far then, pamela vitale was dressed. she didn't answer the phone when daniel called her after his breakfast and that was unusual. so the attack must have happened in the morning after daniel left. i would hope the police would check the phone records as to see if someone called her and was coming over, like someone she knew. and if it was me, and being she didn't answer the phone at breakfast, i would have tried a few more times and then would have become worried and gone home because this was not in her pattern. i think possibly she did answer the door and was punched hard in the chest knocking her back and then he or they entered. she must have punched or scratched the person or persons.the person who did this was familiar with the place, having a drink and then taking a shower. how can they determine the shower lasted 45minutes? did the police alert the neighbors to keep inside and lock their doors? there might be a really deranged person on the loose.
