Mario, ..…..It’s not always easy to see who his comments are pointed at. Some of them appear to be comments on what some of my characters say in The Random Factor, Doing Without and Messiah. In some of his remarks he sounds like a “former Negro” I call McBain. In others, he sound like a character called Sanderson. He says that he spent time in Detroit, where most of the action in the trilogy takes place. Many of his themes use themes in the trilogy for launching pads. I don’t think he ever mentions Mark Fuhrman so I get the impression that he has never even looked at the Iago board. ……..Sometimes Mr. X attaches his messages to comments made by Jean or Kari but he scatters them all over the place so you can’t always tell who he’s talking to or talking about. I don’t think it matters to him. Anyone or anything will do to give him leverage to deliver his message. ………The first time I noticed him was a year or two ago. He posted a long list of reasons for his position with facts and figures to prove it. If you didn’t know better, many of them sound reasonable. It’s a great example of Mark Twain’s observation, “There are lies, damn lies – and statistics.” He cherry picked his information to fit his position and you can tell that he did one hell of a lot of research. ……..If everyone in America read his words, I believe that the percentage of them who think he has a number of “good” points would be roughly equivalent to the people who saw nothing wrong with Mark Fuhrman’s role in the O.J. case. That includes more Jews and black people than you might think. They won’t agree with everything he says and most would object to his language but if you think he is a far distance from mainstream American thought on most of his issues, I think you’re wrong. –Jasper
