Kari,

Thanks,

I was composing my post when you were posting yours. Hope Rose doesn’t think we’re ganging up on her.

I think I understand her objection. It looks like I’m trying to make Marcia’s story seem unnecessarily ridiculous when she has come up with a fill-in that seems to make it more reasonable. I don’t think I’ve explained very well why I couldn’t have O.J. going back and forth looking for the glove or going out to the Bentley to dispose of incriminating evidence (as Marcia LATER SUGGESTS). No matter what O.J. does back there Park would see him before he sees Kato. Don’t know how to get that across. I thought that Rose would have seen it herself. Can’t figure out what I did that makes it so hard.

I’m glad she said what she thought, though. If that’s what she thought most people will think the same thing. They will think I missed some key component of the sequence Marcia explained or I somehow cheated to present a false representation of what she said or what Allan Park actually saw. Gotta figure out how to get around that.

By the way, I think the Kato’s Walk animation does show what happened. The difference is in the time that Park could have seen Kato and then O.J. without them seeing each other. It fits Kato’s story, O.J.’s and most of Park’s.

Need we say anything about the doors that O.J. DIDN’T try to sneak into, according to Marcia or the gates that he would have had to pass through without opening? I don’t think so. Mark Fuhrman tried to fix that up with his version of what happened on the south path (Fuhrman’s Story). O.J. isn’t standing around in that animation. He goes into the maid’s room – and comes back out.

No way can you get O.J. on the south path. It just doesn’t work. –Jasper
