Prien, I disagree only slightly. I think it could have been made up that night as they had all day Monday to make it work. Before noon, Vannatter was working to get a blood sample from OJ and the blood drops are not mentioned in Fuhrman's notes nor are the ones at Rockingham found til after Lange's call back to Chicago when he talked to the clerk.
You must remember, none of this would have worked w/out OJ having a cut on his hand...or a cut somewhere.
And they didn't know that til about 6:30 or 6:45 that Monday morning.
Now from then on, all bets are off.
Like you, I think the blood swatches themselves were changed without ever testing the ones at the scene. Perhaps the ones at the scene were the victim's blood or even animal blood. It wouldn't have mattered if they weren't planning on testing them anyway.
I agree about taking the shoes and the trip to the lab in the AM.
Perhaps they were just ASSURING themselves that the blood would be OJ's.
I have talked to some pretty narrow minded or tunnel vision cops. It is amazing to witness or participate in a conversation with them.
About changing the cops--and when. Perhaps you are correct but for the reason that these new cops were known for such stuff or were deliberately placed there.
I really think that regardless of what they said, they DID know it was NIcole and they knew it early on--probably no later than when the EMT was there and checked her out.
