Sorry, wrong. My source of information is the OJ interview tape. OJ himself deals quite specifically with the three blood drops in the foyer, and shows, with a life-size picutre of the droplets, how small they were and that their total area was less than that of a quarter.
Also, the pegs in the floor pattern were of a darker color than the florboards and just might have been mistaken for blood drops on first glance, but not upon closer inspection. They were actually much lighter in color than the blood droplets.
"The so-called blood trail to the kitchen was taco sauce or ketchup because they did a "protein" test at least on it as was testified to at the time this was said while showing the video...."
I have to insist that your memory is in error. Oj certainly said nothing about such a trail of blood/ketchup/taco sauce on the interview video, and I (nor Jasper) remembers it being mentioned anywhere else.
"I recall thinking at the time that it might have shown that OJ came into the house with his McDonald's trash and dripped ketchup on the floor...."
Kaelin mentioned in testimony and, I think, in Eliot's book, that OJ wolfed down his burger in a matter of seconds. Also, OJ stayed behind at the Bentley to clean up lettuce he had dropped. Also, remember OJ's reputation as a 'neatnik' and you'll realize that what you suggect is quite out of character.
"I have done that myself so I could picture it."
Yeah, but you're more of a slob than OJ was. Then again, everybody is more of a slob than OJ is.
"BUT for sure it showed to me that they were "working" with the premise that more blood was in that foyer than was on the floor."
The area was sprayed and inspected with Luminol. The cops made an exhaustive search for blood, including on the white carpet on the stairs. None other than the three droplets was found.
"I still believe that some of the so-called blood drops outside were also dripped ketchup or taco sauce."
Highly unlike, for the reasons I've just mentioned. Though Kaelin carried his food back to his room to eat, it was in the usual container. Also, OJ himself never disputed the nature of the drops on the driveway, saying that they must have come from his 'papercut' which he first spotted in the kitchen.
"I seem to recall that in the audio tapes of McKenny that Fuhrman described using ketchup as a "probable cause" pretending it looked like blood."
I can neither confirm nor deny that, but, elven if is true, it is irrelevant. NO ONE has ever suggested that blood was planted on the Rockingham driveway or inside the Rockingham estate.
