Add that Ron evidently didn't answer the calls or the play the messages that came in during a time that he was allegedly home---is another puzzler.
He could have been hearing them but ignoring them. But once those guys said they were coming over--why not respond to that?
And although it never ended up in court, Cochran mentioned in opening that Ron and the Scott girl spoke on the phone during that period of time. Why did it not end up in court? Was the timing wrong for the prosecution? Could the defense not get proof of the call? Or did she cave to the Goldman's with their threat of "withholding" support and friendship to anyone who helped the defense in any way?
