Jasper, Nicole did not bleach Justin's hair so it could still be his.
Also, Hearing today that they were able to do DNA on a hair found in the CA missing girl's room that matches the DNA of the neighbor they arrested reminded me of something.
The case (approx. 2 years ago) that told us that they can now do DNA on hair without a root on it was where a guy was proven Innocent by the DNA from the hair. However, he had spent years in jail prior to this. I wonder if they did the hocus pocus science of matching hair? If I recall correctly, this guy was a black guy. The hair was a big part of the crime scene and evidence. Doubt they had anything else if he was let go and they had nothing else.
I believe that I posted here that one the program recently (cop forsensics) they basically said that if they had enough hair samples they can find a visual match.
Just think how many hairs they asked from OJ (100) and how they came back later and wanted more hair sample.
Did they have "trouble" finding a visual match?
