It's sad, but no, it doesn't surprise me.
I was watching Dominick Dunne on Larry King the other night. He was instrumental in getting Fuhrman the book deal about the Moxley case and he said about Fuhrman that "he was one of the great American detectives of our time". Which says more about Dominick Dunne than about Fuhrman.
Dunne must also not have read Murder in Brentwood, at least not Fuhrman's hypothesis of a murder.
