I agree both the Jeep and the Bronco are high vehicles however they are mostly window in the top half and that makes some difference when headlights reflect off them. A person sees the reflected light more than the vehicle itself.
Storfer could not have seen Nicole's parking pad from his upstairs bedroom window. There is a building(two rear apts to the house on the corner of Bundy)and some trees in the way. From Nicole's parking pad, I was unable to see Storfer's house. Now if you move west and a little south from Nicole's parking pad, you can see Storfer's house. As to Stein not seeing the jeep, I am not familar with that part of the testimony but will review it when I look at something else I am researching.
I agree the leash is interesting. We are looking at possible scenarios where the leash is removed after Karpf sees the dog but before Schwab finds the dog. It may explain the break in the barking times (that quiet period from 10:23- 10:33pm). But our analysis is still in the preliminary stage.
