I went over to read Dick's article and see the pix.
First, pix taken at the time of the murders, the shrubs were cut very low---much lower than some other photos taken at a later date. Those photos are also on Wagner's site. Both a Jeep or a Bronco are HIGH vehicles. And it ignores that Stein --looking out a second story window did not see the Jeep nor did the guy Stoffer? down at the end of the alley.
I agree we cannot discard that Karpf said that the dog had a leash on. Karpf didn't act like he was not sure about it.
Nor is it mentioned how close in time this is to the blind daters going by and not seeing or hearing the dog nor noticing anything strange about the front of the condo.
It does bring up some interesting questions though.
