Jean, That is a good explanation for why they changed their story.
But it may not be anything like what happened in reality.
As I have said before, unless Judy (and others) are people who just talk to hear themselves talk and are pathological in their lies--the early stories are the ones that are the most accurate. The stories that were told BEFORE they changed. Before they had to "fit" the DA's scenario.
I even think about Judy in the civil trial saying that she could not even ID those glasses as being hers.
And countless other little things.
