There never was a real explanation of why Tonya didn't attend the recital. I never heard the baby-sitting story--but I don't disbelieve that others did.
It has never been a straight-forward story. It got changed or morphed as time went on.
So the big question becomes why. It is more than the 8:30 time of leaving because as I said before a simplier story of calling back to see if the glasses had been found could have been told.
And to not have depos or statements or testimony from Lou, Dom and Tonya or any of the kids (or Rachel's parents) plus no witnesses from the recital or Mezz that weren't directly connected to Ron or Nicole is ridiculous.
