Jean,
I am definitely going to write the book. The public has no idea of what goes on in the auto industry to add unnecessary cost to the cars and truck they sell. They have no idea why Ford REALLY lost five billion dollars and why Ford is in danger of becoming the next Enron. I think I can do it in 300 pages or less (I'm shooting for 250) and I will try my best to make it affordable for just about anyone.
I've got the inside story and I hope I will be allowed to show the documents that prove it. If the law says I can't show the evidence, it seems to me that public opinion will prompt a Congressional investigation to demand it.
Although Ford succeed in narrowing the case to two guys who wouldn't settle without a hearing, the reason we got involved in the first place is because the system was corrupt and we wanted to change it. The implications for everyone are enormous - just like the O.J. Simpson case. The same principles unrestrained power apply and bigotry is at the bottom of it all. --Jasper
