Kari When the Browns came from Dana Point to hear the verdict, it was at rush hour on the freeway. There is no surprise the trip would have taken the Brown family longer than it did on 6/12/94. It is bumper to bumper, slow moving traffic. On a Sunday night, the speed is closer to 75-80 miles per hour. The distance to the Brown residence is 70.7 miles. The time it took was about one hour.
