I don't think they would want it. They want their wiggle room. Imagine that they actually write reports with lead pencils. That should be dissallowed too, you shouldn't be able to go in and make changes without initialing them.
OJ's team of lawyers found a lot of evidence that the prosecution and the police tried to hide. Think of the happy video, the change of blood sample number and so on and so on. How many things did they not find?
But how can a kid from the street, with a half asleep court appointed lawyer get justice, when the police have that kind of wiggle room?
