This does not make sense that he would go up the paths to the houses across the street. No dog reason to. One house makes sense as he may know a dog that lives there or be following the scent of someone. But most houses does not make sense. IF he did anything like this he would have gone across the street to Bundy. Or made some move that way or been more strong on a house where he knew them or there dog or smelled the murderer.
