Rose, Perhaps I do have a tape of his testimony.

I was always under the impression from the first time I heard him that he saw the couple past the Bundy block where Nicole lived.

If they were closer, there would have been an attempt to find them---I still don't know if they shouldn't have.

This is one of the crazy things about this case. These dog walkers should have been regulars in the neighborhood (unless one or all are lookouts there only for that night).

By regulars, I mean doing that walk every night or quite often as Schwab claimed he did. Perhaps at the same time or near it every night. I don't see why it would be so hard to locate them.

Depending on where they lived and what their route was, it could be that they never went by Nicole's at all.

BTW, I watched a Dateline last night about the investigation of the mysterious death of a state policeman. Funny how any interview that did not fit or did not match the state cop's story never made it to the file and the final report.

I have always suspected that this is the case with the OJS case as well. We talked about the "Keeper" of the lists and the controller of the info.

It could well be that this couple contacted the cops and were dismissed if anything they said didn't match the agreed on story.
