In their stupidity they got exactly the jury that would see thru what they were doing. Johnny must have laughted his rear off. Marsha thought also that women would convict on the abuse, which is also dumb. A woman who had been abused and got out would first of all know that abuse rarely leads to murder and also not feel any sympathy for a rich white woman who would stay in the abuse. They also would know that even if they believed the crap that the prosecution put on about the abuse, that he was not a chronic abuser who might murder.
