Jasper, What I am talking about is the general impression that Karpf's testimony gives about Schwab. It was "assumed" (details about time and position aside) that the man he saw was Scwhab.

That was the Reason he was used. Any "errors' (alleged ones) were put off as mistakes. The leash, the time (the impression was left he could be off by a few minutes since they never nailed down the plane time, etc.)

I didn't recall about Schwab speaking to the couple about the dog because I was going by Dick's article I had just briefly read before but that makes more sense.

I am putting out there that he was USED to verify Schwab (mistakes and all) when in fact, he did not in fact do that.

Either Karpf saw a real lookout or Schwab is the lookout and lied about other things. That is what I am saying.

But he was just "ify" enough about his times and Schwab had a little "leaway" in his timing (a listener would think) for him to be the same person.

And what problem do I have with him? It's intuition. I get the SAME feeling watching him as I do watching Fuhrman testify.
