Why is it that we give Karpf a "break" on the time he says he was out front but Schwab's 10:55 is cut in stone?

If we accept Karpf's time (home NO later than 10:45 and outside at the mailbox in a couple of minutes--10:47) then the man across the street CANNOT be Scwhab if we totally accept in stone his 10:55 time of finding the dog?

Why can't he be off a few minutes?

To accept Scwhab's story "whole" and give Karfp leaway is to Have to say that the man across the street was not Schwab ---and I think that is farfetched and brings somebody not known into the case. It is like Dick's imaginary people that he has running around.

To me, it could be that Karpf is off by a LOT and the time WAS 10:55 when he saw the dog and Scwhab.

To accept Karpf's story--he is out front at 10:47 not arriving just after the white SUV comes by. That is speculation.

And yes, Benjamin Jones--the Black cop was found but to my knowledge the only thing he said about it was that yes he was stopped that night by a man with a dog. NOT what time it was.

I find it illogical to think that Schwab is Absolutely correct (to the minute) but Karpf doesn't have to be and we can have him getting home anytime it suits us. He testified that it was approx 10:47 when he was out there.

And he may be wrong---and so might Schwab by a few minutes.
