John,

I used to think that you knew something here that I didn't. Now I know better.

That drawing you showed me is the one the prosecution used against O.J. to show crucial features of the property in the wrong relationship to each other in order to tell a story that couldn't have happened.

If you are relying on any prosecution drawing of the estate to tell you anything, you are BADLY misinformed.

The portion of that drawing that you are focused on COULD BE correct. But I have no other landmarks to go by to tell me that it IS correct. I studied that drawing when I was trying to figure out the location of the blood drops long before I dropped O.J. or Kato from my suspect list. It is very much like Mark Fuhrman's diagram. I thought I could simply plot the angles using a few key landmarks and plunk the drops in where they belonged. I found out that I couldn't do that because some of the crucial angles didn't add up and the dimensions had no relationship whatever to videos and photos of the property. This is a trick used in design to sell a particular idea. It's called "cheating." That's how I ended up making my own drawings.

Look at the driveway in the prosecution's drawing. Is that where it was in relation to the garage? No it wasn't. Did O.J.'s driveway have that shape? No it didn't. Is the pathway running around the house within ten yards of where it was supposed to be? No it isn't. Is ANYTHING in that picture close to scale? Not that I can tell. Who stayed in the bungalow on the end labeled "Arnelle"? Arnelle certainly didn't. And what about that big bump on the far end of the notch where O.J. parked his Bentley? Did that ever exist? No it didn't.

I didn't indicate the size, shape or inner boundaries of the office because I didn't know where to put them. I still don't. But now I see what you were talking about, which gives me a better idea of just how distorted your view is of what is important and what isn't important in a diagram of this kind. The prosecution drew its diagram to tell a story about O.J. parking his car haphazardly, bumping into the air conditioner and putting the missing weapon and shoes into a bag near the garage AND his lawn. There is no such thing as a place near O.J.'s garage and is front lawn. The diagram you want me to draw (using the prosecution's drawing as my guide) is one that tells a story of Kato committing the murders - no matter what clearly documented features of the landscape have to be skewed or omitted to get that job done.

Now I know that you think I'm showing the office in the hallway because of how long the letters in "office are" and the fact that I did not put it within the larger rectangle of Kato's bungalow. As I've said before, I don't know how the office is partitioned and I don't know what its dimensions are relative to the other bungalows. I just know where it is in relation to Kato's room. It's right where I have it. --Jasper.
