Allita,
The truth has come out.
The truth is in Donald Freed's book about the Simpson case. It's in both of Chris Springer's books about the case. And it's in all three of my books about Mark Fuhrman. It's in the posts on this board submitted by you and about a dozen others. The hard part is getting people to look at the truth and to understand what they are looking at. Of all the people who've posted on this board the one one's I'm sure have read Iago are Jolana and Miss Marple. I'm not saying that everyone else just scanned it and missed key information that makes other key information intelligible, but that's what it looks like to me.
I thought the Smoking Gun was the answer with lots of snapshots to back up my words about Fuhrman, his obsession with the Simpson's and his inspiration for the murders and the frame-up - a book that you could scan and still absorb most of the essential points. I got some response, at first from Pat W, Kari, Charlie and Jean. Then I got practically nothing from anyone.
I knew that I had to leave a lot out of The Smoking Gun and restructure some things to make inherently confusing names and dates less confusing. I thought that The Smoking Gun 2 would do the trick, using the feedback I got on The Smoking Gun and the open invitation for everyone to join in the process. I think I got a total of three comments on the Smoking Gun 2. But that could be stretching it. I haven't even bothered to proof most of the chapters in either book or to pick the boogers out of the ones I have proofread. Nobody seems to care enough to make it worth my time. But I know the work is important to getting the truth out so I had to do at least the first rough cuts.
Then I thought the problem was with too much data, too much to read and too much to think about to see the truth for what it was.
So I figured I could focus on the issues that convinced most people of O.J.'s guilt with a series of animations. I have gotten little feedback to tell me what people are getting out of them and what I have to do to make them better. The truth is there; in an accurate layout of the grounds, the physical evidence, the photos, Allan Park's phone records, the deceptive photo angles, the testimony of the witnesses and where all of these things come together.
Take another look at Marcia's Story (either version) and Kato's Walk. Check the clock. Note the range of variables in distance, walking speed and lines of observation. Then tell me how O.J. could have been anywhere but in his house when Park first spotted O.J.
O.J. testified that he went outside briefly to set out his golf clubs. Park testified that he saw O.J. in the spot where O.J said he put the clubs. After Kato's first trip he testified that he loaded some golf clubs into the limo that he didn't notice when he first passed the bench on his way to the path. Kato did not see O.J. until after his second trip to the south path.
There is more in the latest animations I put up (Rockingham Estate and Blood Drops). I took some liberties with the length of O.J.'s stride to save myself four our five more days of drawing and keyframeing (a very tedious process) but even the proper stride can and will be shown in upcoming animations. My objective was simply to show the lines of travel that correspond the blood drops at the Rockingham gate. When I get ready to show the position of the blood drops relative to the left shoe, I will take more care with the stride, because then the stride relative to the arm swing becomes important.
The animations are supplements to the drawings in Iago, which didn't reproduce well. To get the most out of the animations you should refer to the book. The text should clear up any question that isn't apparent in the animations themselves. I also suggest that you look up the pertinent testimony in the transcripts. Pat V has volunteered to help Keith and me with the sound portion of the animations that will include segments from Iago and the transcripts. But that could take several weeks. Besides, the "pertinent" information you find yourself will carry more weight.
I'm always open to suggestions. You will see most of Jolana's in Rockingam Estate. And I can't thank Jean enough for trying to spread the word. -- Jasper
