Thank you Jasper for the comments about the Grand Jury's role now and as it was intended. New to learning about the American Justice system I first thought about the Grand Jury as some sort of Inquisition, that was how it seemed. No defence allowed in proceedings and all that secrecy.

I have always believed however, that the Grand Jury in OJ's case would not have indicted him. The stellar moment was when a juror questioned Fung about the fact that he was called to Rockingham before going to the murder scene, a fact Clark had tried to avoid during her questioning of Fung. After that the jurors started asking more questions and in fact started to act like the investigative voice they were intended to be. Clark lost them. The next day the 911 tape was released and Garcetti "investigated" how that had influenced the Grand Jurors. All BS, they could not loose face after all that hoopla. I believe that during the time between the Grand Jury and the Prelims some people were very busy finding "additional" evidence.
