Good point Kari. So much of the trial was giving A and then B and letting people conclude C.
The defense knew the socks did not have blood on them, because there was no way for OJ to get it on them and their guys had not seen it. When they knew the socks were being sent out they knew they had been phoneyed up. So they gave her the tip. Best arugument in the world for the trial.
Or perhaps a good guy in the lab knew about the socks and gave her the tip. Knowing it would screw up the prosecution.
I always thought it was a mistake in timeing and can now see that it was most likely a brilliant plan on someone's part.
