Somewhere a long time ago it seems like the name came up, but I'm not sure if there wasn't a higher up involved with Tracie. Gascon, however, would be a good candidate for news leaks. I'm sure a lot of times there was an off the record approach to news which became leaks. The serious problem with the OJ Case and some of the others, are they appear to be Violation of Constitutional Rights of the person THEY "choose" to destroy. There was a lot of false information flowing and no one seemed to care that they were unauthorized leaks. Which, of course, bolstered the D.A.'s case. It was also obvious "THEY" didn't share the same kind of venom when it came to intimidating witnesses (such as Perata) the nurse who was visited by the D.A. and changed his testimony.
I hardly find any of them credible, let alone professional. Was Tracie a pawn, or a participant, that is the question.
