Interesting Charlie,
It occurred to me that Mr. Lange would have known a celebrity such as Marcus or O.J., however, may not have known this MR. Big. Had he been able to I.D. the guy he may not have been left around to identify anyone. That is a pretty frightening thought.
I have also kept in mind the fact DEBELLO tells Ron to stay away from Nicole, meaning his life would be endangered. Obviously not from OJS. DEBELLO knows more than he is talking about and the cops didn't bother to pin him down to truth. There had to be a real reason (probably witheld in the 10,000 pieces of documentation that disappeared?) he took a hike as soon as possible from the Mezzaluna. There were a lot of people getting the heck out of Dodge.
The thought also occurred to me that when a pimp gets obsessed or beligerent with one of his prostitutes, don't they usually beat them up or kill them? Obviously, there is some reason so many are too frightened of this guy to talk about it. Frankly, Brambles comes to mind. What was that D.A.'s name who prosecuted the Manson case, you know, the one that hangs around Darryl Gates neck like a necklace. I can never rembember his name.
