No Dan Rather's not reporting it had to do with Gary Condit being for 100 percent of the Republican agenda. He is close friends with Rick Lazio and worked with former Republican Mayor Langer. Notice few if any Democrats backing this man up other than normal support of waiting and seeing because so far, no Crime has been shown to have been committed. Modesto is not completely Conservative. Most of the Democrats in this area do not vote because they lost people in Vietnam and have never recovered. Some have been disenfranchised to the point they don't care.
