Charlie,
My full name is Jasper Warren Garrison. I hate my first name and my middle name but what can you do? I stopped using my middle initial when I started getting mail and phone calls for my Uncle Jasper W. Garrison after I got out of the Army and he started getting mail and phone calls for me. Dropping the W made my life simpler.
However, on some official documents I have to give my full name or at least my middle initial. I don't know if all of the people who testified in the O.J. case gave a middle name but it seems to me that most of them did and I was able to find a middle name or initial somewhere for every principle in the case except Mark Fuhrman.
I don't think the search engine is a good guide to Mark E as our Mark Fuhrman. I have found my name in places where I had no connection and I had a lot of trouble making the search engine connection to my name and my website. In fact, I had a devil of a time getting Smartfellows Press, Iago in Brentwood or anything associated with this sight to come up on the search engines. You still won't find it very easily if you type in any variation of O.J. Simpson.
The trouble with search engines is that they go to the most popular names that are CLOSE to the one you type in. A lot of times it doesn't even make sense. It is therefore not surprising to me that our boy would pop up when you go to Mark E Fuhrman.
When I was researching Iago trying to find the McKinney tapes (or Fuhrman tapes) I did find a Mark E. Fuhrman who was no relation to former Det. Mark Fuhrman. But since then I haven't been able to find his website. If he no longer has one or the gods of the search engines (who work in VERY mysterious ways) have decided that he isn't worth bothering with, you can expect to get THE Mark Fuhrman every time. --Jasper
