Although Ron may have left at 9:50, we have no way of knowing exactly what time he arrived at Bundy. He goes home to shower (we know because his "uniform" was on the bathroom door. He talks to his (?) girlfriend at 10:17. So what time do we expect he gets into the car and drives to Bundy? I strongly suspect he arrives, Nicole runs down the walk, leaves the door open for a hasty retreat, opens the gate, Ron enters and BAM comes the guys out of the woodwork, from behind the bushes, etc. Whacks Nicole before she could get back to the door. Heidstra is in the alley altering his route because of the dogs barking and the muffled altercation. He clearly hears the Hey, hey, hey. His timeline is the best of all. He also observed near 11:00 p.m. all of the cars screeching the wrong way from Rockingham away from Bundy. Those were the perpetators leaving in a hurry, taking all of the evidence the police never bothered to gather, with them.
