You are correct about that. The media was only too happy to chase false information and pie in the sky in order to make their news ratings. They will report on anything, inaccurate or not. When the truth is found out, they say, oops. Too bad, so sad.
They never considered why they were deliberately fed false information and a lot of MIS information. Who provided that information? We will never know since so many people died surrounding the case. It is for sure a lot of witnesses have been eliminated.
The media told the stories so long and so often trying to top each other that they actually believe what they said. Talk about a hypocritical unjust bunch of pundits. When it involved one of their own they clamped zippers so hard you would need a crow bar to find the truth, and I'm sure there are a couple of examples that come to your mind as you read.
