I agree that the murder of one of the persons took place at the Hey, Hey, Hey. Heistra heard the altercation. Nicole was already dying, blood flowing. Ron wandered onto the scene or was already there as Nic tried to run into the house where she was struck to stop her. There absolutely, without a doubt, had to be three or four people on that property to do what they did to two people.
Recall that RON did not yell, or his mouth was covered by some very strong individual so his screams could not be heard. No one is going to convince me that you are not going to scream bloody murder when someone is attacking you with a knife while you are violently fighting for your life. Even karate experts do their yells and kicks and he-ahs! Yet the scene of this slaughter is a mere Hey Hey Hey? Good grief Charlie Brown.
It is my guess that when Nic was struck and Ron was surrounded, it was HE who yelled (a natural instinct), Hey! Hey! Hey! He saw Nicole get her throat slashed and he saw the blood. In my humble opinion, she did die first. She was no contest.
