I never thought of that, Jean, you might be right. I always wondered why Michelle didn't testify. She had worked at Rockingham for many years and would certainly know more than anybody about OJ's habits, the relationship, contents in his closet etc.
About the spousal abuse, I agree with Jasper and you. When they showed that photograph of the battered Nicole I just couldn't see it. Muddy - yes, stoned or drunk - sure. And that officer Edwards, who remembered all those injuries that the photo didn't show, well come on.
Pictures are so powerful and with a little help people can be made to believe they see things that aren't there.
Jasper mentions in Iago the fairy tale, The Emperor's new clothes, and it's funny, I have thought about that story so often in regard to the Simpson case. The "battered Nicole picture" was one of those times. Miss Marple
