Judy was supposed to testify until the last minute and she ended up doing a stipulation which the defense had to sign off on.
Getting Judy on the stand (in the criminal trial) could have brought up--if not in court on the tv--video-taped statements where she said something else than she testified to.
I wouldn't have held my breath that they would do that because so many chances to do so were left to die a death in the sand by the media.
Judy was a loose cannon for both sides. Which story would she tell if asked. Missing the glasses while still inside the restuarant or on the way home? Whether OJ had been invited to dinner-or not? And the list of questions could go on and on.
The defense was also under the pressure of not seeiming to put the Browns "on trial" so no HARD questions could be asked.
I personally didn't agree with that. I believed in exposing the inconsistencies and in some cases outright lies that they had told.
Judy told that Denise had asked the kids about Ron and that the kids said that they didn't know anybody named Ron. That in itself is a lie because of Ron Shipp and secondly lots of people (friends of Ron and neighbors of Nicole) had told of seeing Ron over playing with the dogs and kids many times.
As it was Denise's crying (late one Friday eve) gets her off the stand. And garners her lots of favorable PR and people feeling sorry for her.
The whole thing is amazing! charlie
