Cora has been unable to find the orginal press clipping but found the follow up that gave the same quote.

In an effort to dispute the 11 oclock phone call, Brown says that it was closer to 10 and that when they walked into the door, it was Nicole calling to say that she was home. Now this is strange. Where has Nicole been?

Even if Lou got his tongue wrapped around his teeth and misspoke and Meant that Nicole was calling to see if THEY were home, he is still saying that it is close to 10 oclock when they got home. He makes a remark about taking them that long to get home.

I think this could well mean the 10:17 call from NIcole's phone. It certainly is not close to 9:30 and before the 9:37 call.

Nicole's long distance bill would have pinpointed the EXACT time that they got home--whether it was near 9:30 or 10:00 or after.

For the trip to take over an hour is much more reasonable and even Clark's courtroom statements early where she says the Browns left at 9 oclock, it is more likely that the 10:17 call was from Nicole checking to see if they had gotten home yet. The trip --by necessity and the given roads at that time---had to take over any hour.

Is this why we never saw Lou? Is this why we never saw Nicole's phone bill?
