Jasper, We have talked about this PPL before and we have talked about the unseemly arrangement of the SAME lawyers representing those who complain against the LAPD or have cases with them representing the "rogue' cops. And many of them are hired by the PPL. It is almost like the defense "mutual consent agreements" of where the crime boss pays for the lawyer of the guy who is testifying against him. The fix is in.
I don't know how you would find out that info but I do know that MF once made a statement on Geraldo that Gates was his "chief" not Williams. That Williams never had been. He still considered Gates the chief. Bizarre.
Also both Rothmiller and Joe Domanick who wrote of the LA Secret Police, etc. said that Gates still controlled things behind the scenes. Rothmiller suggested that Gates still had "control" of the secret files that were allegedly destroyed under orders but were not.
And others can tell you this part as well. Fuhrman who always acts like a butt kicker with everybody else, acts like a butt kisser with Gates. It is amazing to watch. He either thinks he is some kind of "god" or is scared to death of him.
