Clearly this was something they came up with for the jury to consider if they brought in Killing Time. The acoustical proof that no way might that Bronco drive up without being heard meant that if they didn't get the jury they wanted. By having the admission that perhaps there was a bicycle that O.J, just grabbed it and rode home. As if he could have done that. It could also have to do with the letter they say Nicole wrote about O.J. and Nicole telling a doctor she fell off a bicycle when it truth he beat her. The alternate explanation for that had to do with writing it for the Divorce but that she didn't use it because it wasn't true.
