Yes, Roberts was hidden--deliberately. It was told that Phillips was Fuhrman's partner for a long time. It wasn't until Phillips got mad at Cochran for calling him MF's partner and said he was NOT MF's partner and he would appreciate if Cochran would quit saying that, they I had a clue.
And I don't think he would have been mentioned at all except he showed up in a video of the handcuff scene and the person on the stand had to ID all those in the picture.
This is truly unusual. It is like they don't want anybody to know about him. I know he is still working because he was the first detective on the scene when Ennis Cosby was killed but once the witness finally made them understand (she said it took a very long time) just who the victim was, he was replaced.
He was also the detective for Don Simpson's death as well as the doctor who OD'd at his estate. I never could get the names but I think he was sued along with Tony Pellicano for tampering with evidence in the doctor case.
Also, if you type in his name at www.lapd.org his name will come up along with his current cases as will Ron Phillips (he is out of PR and back on as a detective).
For him to be barred in the civil trial was amazing since he was allegedly in Fuhrman's company most of the time.
And the watch commander from MF's station actually testified that he had never laid eyes on him, never heard his name and wondered what he was doing at Bundy. Then said when he asked, he was told that he was MF's partner. He knew Fuhrman from the station but not Roberts. Are you believing this?
