Forgot to add WHY I mentioned snitches.
In this case, there were many "shadey" characters around Nicole and her friends and around OJS. Any or all of whom had drug connections or more. The people at the Mezzaluna are a prime example (as per the glasses, etc.) --or one or more of them.
Some of Ron's friends (like the two best friends who did not show to be Ron's pall barers) qualify here as well.
Something subtle is even possible---"just don't mention such and such" unless you want to end up arrested and in prison. The Browns (esp. Denise) fits in this category as does Faye and others.
