Jasper,

Two points:

Fuhrman accidentally seeing on the television about probable cause three weeks before is a "coincidence". A scheduled "in-service" for detectives is coincidence. Receiving a reminder memo from the department is a "coincidence". On his OWn researching ALL the CASE law on it is NOT a "coincidence".

Also, I believe there has been TOO LITTLE attention paid to the fact that the LAPD still had/has a Secret Police in place where celebs were under close surveillance. According to Mike Rothmiller, the file contained a list of acquaintances and friends, address, schedules, favorite restuarants, likes and dislikes in foods even, type of CLOTHES and things like collections kept (guns and knives in OJ's case). Along with this is the claim that a LAPD cop was stationed at LAX at ALL times seeing which celebs were coming or going. Had access to the computers at the airport (against the rules but LAPD was allowed to actually USE the flight computers).

Rothmiller says that these cops were "EXTRA" to the different precincts. That the people at the precincts never saw them because they actually worked out of a secret location.

I have OFTEN wondered if Roberts was one of these Secret Police since the Watch commander said he had never laid eyes on Roberts and didn't know who he was although he was assigned to the same precinct as Fuhrman.
