Arnell could not use those doors. They had been child proffed and only someone very tall could open them. it was due to the child who drowned had gone out a door by the pool and some where nailed shut and the other had the latch up at the top. there was no reason for Arnell to lie. So they were so scared for the maid, so they look in one room and did not search the rest of the house, looking for her. Thats derilict of duty. Suprized Arnell didn't do it herself, but she was a bit tramatized by this time.
