Jean,
I hadn't thought of the used condom. I bet there are a million other ways to do it that I hadn't thought of, either.
Doesn't this remind you of the Bruno Magli Lorenzos? It always astonished me that most people were focused on the question of whether or not O.J. owned them when the only thing that mattered was whether or not he wore them. Like the better ways of determining a DNA match, you can't get a better match than the real thing. As it turned out O.J. didn't own those shoes and the photos showing him in them were faked. But the way most people jumped immediately from the question of whether or not he owned them to the conviction that he must have worn them on the murder scene if did own them - or if he had ever worn them - tells you something about how easy it is to frame anyone.
Works a lot like a Voodoo doll, doesn't it? All you need is a personal item from the victim, a bit of hair, nail clippings, blood, or whatever, and the magic is done. --Jasper
