Those are the ones I meant by killed and had accidents in and around the trial. When you brought up accidents it made me think of some of the injuries that destroyed some football careers like Sterling Sharpe, Joe Montana had several years left before his last injury. What about Derrick Thomas and his car accident and now in the Rae Carruth case the judge is denying his right to a speedy trial because the prosecution states they will not be ready till Feb 2001, Then we have the rumor that Troy Aikman is gay and suddenly the rumors go away but Troy is throwing interceptions. Steve Young even fumbled five times in a play off game and it was almost as if he dropped the ball on purpose. Garrison Hearst had an injury that maybe destroyed his career and everyone knows about Bo jackson, he lost two careers in one accident and it was because the surgery went badly on a routine surgery. It isn't just agents. it is as you have said before, major gambling interests. Joe Montana's back injury was suppose to kill his career but it didn't because he was smart. It was the broken pinky and tendon in his arm that did the trick. The guy from Detroit during playoffs one year that pretty much died and came back on the field by CPR and he had to wear that crown for a long time to hold his head up. Scary stuff. The Niners had a guy once named Jeff Fuller who looked to be one of the greatest linebackers ever and in his second year his neck was cracked in a play that should not have caused him to be hit the way he was.
