Kari, NIgg was the last and it was Sept 29, 1995 I think. Just days before the verdict on Oct. 4th.
CAntor I believe was July of 93.
But recently I see that although NIgg appeared to be the last to die straight out by murder--quite a few in and around the Hollywood scene died during that time. Many who knew each other and played together.
Even the guy who HAD been one of the partners of the entertainment mgrs of Dione Warwick was murdered in Aug. of 95 in Malibu. He was found shot to death on the side of the road.
The doctor died at Don Simpson's house in Sept or Oct of 95 and Simpson himself died in Jan of 96.
Lots of Unfortunate things were happening to the group of people who had been clients of the entertainment managers who had just been on trial a few years before in Chicago (Warwick testified) for strongarming the entertianer and athelete clients (threatening career ending accidents if they didn't cooperate or attempted to change agencies). Other clients were the Jacksons, and Ben Vereen who suffered both the death of his daughter in a van wreck and a career ending hit and run accident.
And I am thinking that at some point we learned that Warwick had been swindled out of all her money by some "managers". Isn't that right?
All of this happening also on the heels of the trial of Armenian mob boss Eddie Nash who had dealings with Simpson and others who were involved in porn and prostitution and drugs.
And Vannatter and Lange were the cops in the Nash case. They were also the detectives for the death of the movie executive who "committed suicide' during the trial. Roberts was the detective at the doctor's death at Simpson's house. Pellicano and others were involved there and were later sued by the doctor's family for tampering with a crime scene and more.
Now I realize that there is a LOT that happens in Hollywood but in that particular period of time a lot happened amongst interconnected people--people with ties to porn, prostitution and drugs and the party and club scene.
You also at the same time as OJ's trial, the trial of John Carpenter on molestation charges in LA and then on to the murder trial in another state for the death of Bob Crane--someone else involved in porn, prostitution and drugs.
