If anyone is using webtv, beware. In very mild thunderstorm, when my lights just flickered burned out the whole unit. My brand new one has a guareented surge and store insurance. Webtv said that they were very sensitve to surge. You can unplug electric from both TV, phone line and cable and not loose email,etc.
