Jasper, I hate to tell you this but DeBello was perfectly aware of the mob connections and what was going on at the Mezz.
In an interview with a young boy that took Nigg's place, he tells of being interviewed by DeBello while Keith Z was sitting close by but not speaking.
He tells of being offered "off the clock" work and activities and a chance to make all kinds of money. The kid took the job but shortly afterwards told his mom what was said to him and she made him quit. He was that young when approached with these things.
DeBello was very much involved and "running" things in LA with Keith Z overseeing them. charlie
