So true, Kari.
It is absolutely amazing. It took months and months and me emailing every story to every news outlet (I am sure others did to) but finally the WND and Newsmax and Drudge started printing them. It took months for this to get even reported on a national basis.
It just didn't make sense. It is a protected police force. I have read just recently from Mike Ruppert the ex LAPD cop who has been working for years to expose the CIA/drug connection in LA that he knew personally that the CIA worked within the LAPD
The Heidi Fleiss operation has all the markings of a sting operation with full cooperation of LAPD until she started talking openly about the connection.
Even today, with as much going on in LA, it still doesn't rate the kind of coverage that NYC and other cities with similiar but less wide range problems have. The shooting of the Miller girl asleep in the car and other cases did not make the national news as did other cases in NYC and other places.
You can have Geraldo ripping up NYC or another city nightly but can't get him to say a word against the LAPD
I think you are correct. There is something "protected" about that operation. charlie
