I normally don't do this, but I thought I'd share an e-mail I received recently.
"Anybody with two brain cells knows OJ is a murderer. Do you know how wrong that is to try to blame it on an innocent person? Not quite as bad as what OJ did but damn evil just the same. Yeah, I'm sure Fuhrman had OJ's old gloves in his pocket (They were proven to be OJ's by old photos), same for the shoes, and I'm sure he had vials of OJ's blood in his pocket too. And I'm sure he put on blackface and drove OJ's Bronco to and from the scene, since people saw him (who they later thought was OJ) driving erratically away from the direction of the scene towards the direction of his house. Icould go on and on. Take that shit off our website. You should know damn well OJ did it unless you (obviously) a. want to blame an innocent person, b. are OJ lovers with your heads buried in the sand, c. want to completely dismiss all the evidence, d. want to disregard OJ's prior behavior, e. are being paid to lie, f. are pathological liars, g. are Mark Fuhrman haters, h. all or most of the above. Get a brain dammit. OJ already got away with murder. Isn't that enough? If you are not the source of this misinformation, forward it to someone who is. I wouldn't take the task of webmaster for a site that spews such horrendous abominations. Why do you? Try tellng your shit to the families ofNicole and Ron. They are the ones suffering. They are not stupid. They know. Stop the blasphemy! -Kate"

I am very sorry that I could not reply sooner. You seem very sure of yourself and very unflexable (I gather from your e-mail address), so I won't argue. However, I get very nervous when anyone uses words and catch-phrases such as "our" website, "Lovers" and "Haters". These are the same words used throughout history to rally people behind one point of view. I wouldn't have a problem with that if it weren't for the fact that these are the same people who blow up federal buildings, shoot O.B.G.Y.N doctors, kidnap and torture tourists, and in favor of castrating Clinton. Extremists. These people also feel that anyone who dares to disagree are less intelligent and work within a lower moral ground than themselves. This is not true of you, is it? Smartfellows Press will remain open and available to all who wish to see what we have to offer. There are disucusion boards on the site where you can voice your opinion along with everyone else. I invite you to try it.
