You hit the nail on the head. The case was not nearly as complicated as it was made out to be. What made it seem that way were all of the lies, red hearings and false interpretations of the facts that were generated by the killer and Mark Fuhrman (one and the same), Tracie Savage and Marcia Clark. When you get down to the basics the proposition is simply one of whether or not O.J. could have committed the murders based on the evidence that no REASONABLE person can dispute. Yes, I know that leaves a big semantic loophole, but if you are willing to do the work to separate the possible from the impossible and the probable from the improbable it all falls into place.
In your post you wrote "10..." at times (the time Juditha and Nicole called Mezzaluna and the time Ron left Mezzaluna) when the recorded times were "9...." This is an easy mistake to make and just as easy to see for what it is (I did it in a post once and some people jumped all over me) so it shouldn't make any difference to a careful reader. However mistakes like this that everyone makes from time to time were used throughout the case to create confusion when a simple, honest review of what was said IN CONTEXT tells you clearly what was going on.
The difference Charlie and I have over the end time of the killing being after 10:50 (the latest that Heidstra could have seen the SUV heading south on Bundy) has to do with importance of that sighting to the stick evidence and the glove evidence on Rockingham. If the end time of the killing was after 10:50 NONE of Heidstra's testimony means a thing. Someone other than Fuhrman could have committed the killings and the strongest evidence against him AND Roberts becomes mere speculation. --Jasper
